A Cuppa Kim's Second Annual Mug Swap Recap & Link Up

God Bless the USPS, you guys.
Over 240 people got mugged in the last two weeks.
That is a whole lot of postal carriers and a whole lot of mugs.

Last year, I had instagram, and a handful of swappers did too.
This year, most of the swappers joined via IG and have been posting up quite the #mugswap storm.
I was excited when there were about 50 pics on there.

Now, almost 500.

It was such a great way for swappers to find each other before this post went up.
And I think everyone loved seeing all the mugs go out.
And then seeing where they ended up.

THIS is the Home of the ORIGINAL Mug Swap.
Scroll all the way down to the bottom of #mugswap and you will see a picture of my organization of last year's first annual mug swap!

Okay, now let's make it official.

Tell me everything.
What did you send?
What did you receive?

I had planned to leave myself out of the swap - mostly because the surprise element is so fun for everyone - and coordinating is a lot of fun for me. But I had a little hitch in the giddyup and got to assign someone to send me a mug.

Here's what I got from my mug-fairy Jeannett from Life Rearranged.
I freaking LOVE her and I freaking LOVE it.
It's bright. It's colorful. It's holds a ton of coffee.
Bippity-boppity-boo!
Mug-win.
She also included a box of my favorite kind of tea (English Breakfast).
I am excited to be stateside with cooler fall mornings.
I know this mug is going to be getting a lot of beverage action.

Let's have it.
Thanks for swapping everyone!

PS Super extra big thank you to Susan for helping me behind the scenes with the swap, especially while I was gone, she was able to help anyone out who had any questions, and she also sent me this super awesome cuppa-cuppa mug as well. :)

PPS Some of you are still waiting for your mug - and I'm working to track them down for you, but I will be keeping this linky open all month - so don't worry - you will still be able to link up once it arrives.

  18. Hi - I just stumbled across your blog the other day and enjoy your writing. Came back b/c I wanted to say that the cup "try it you'll like it" is one I remember from back in the 70s when I was a kid. Haven't seen that thing since I was sitting at the avocado green table, on avocado green chairs, watching my mom drink coffee from it in front of the avocado green refrigerator! Thanks for the fun -Carol
