Weekendlies: Super Cute Edition.
Just 9 highlights from the latest weekending...it was full of a lot of cuteness.
1. Someone has a LOT to be thankful for. Mostly the giant box of toys she has spread around the living room.
2. A foggy fall morning walk along the bay. It's good for the paws. And the soul.
3. Running into Aunt Laura is a treat for both of us.
4. The fog has cleared and my mom and I went on a stroll.
5. To see the cutest little monkey & his mama.
6. The Second Saturday of every month we go to McDonalds & the Dollar Tree. Any variation would cause a riot.
7. Just a big pile of curls watching Horseland.
8. Our prayers for a 49er victory were answered.
9. We both agree, Sunday naps on the new bedding are divine.

10 on 10: Catober Edition
Catching... the sunrise reflecting off some clouds.
Changing...the sheets on my guest bed.
Making...my bed is so much more fun now that I have a new quilt.
Driving...to work under the best sky.
Getting...my breakfast together at work.
Switching...out old lip gloss for new lip balm.
Celebrating...Catober with candy for the office.
Having...an iPhone powwow at my desk while our server is being worked on.
Happy Catober to You All!!

PinterTest Kitchen: 5 Minute Mug Cookie Pizookie
Hello fellow pinterest lovers.
This month I slacked at bit on my pintertesting.
I've been lazy. But I wasn't going to allow my laziness to compromise my perfect attendance.
So here it is. Better late than never!
And, this one is really good!
I decided to go with something super simple.
Even more simple than last month's microwave mug cake.
The Microwave Mug Cookie Pizookie.
That mug is not falsely advertising, this recipe truly is Tres Bien!
Here's what you'll need:
a mug
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp white sugar
1 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/8 tsp/pinch of salt
1 egg yolk
3 tbsp flour
1-2 tbsp chocolate chips
Microwave the butter in the mug for about a minute to melt.
Stir in the sugars.
Stir in the egg yolk.
Stir in the vanilla and salt.
Stir in the flour.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Microwave it all for 40-50 seconds.
And now you have a delicious Mug Cookie.
It's so good.
But don't stop there.
You MUST, I repeat MUST top this with vanilla ice cream.
Sprinkle on a few extra chocolate chips, or if you're feeling crazy, use sprinkles.
And grab a spoon.
But only one.
There is no sharing of the Mug Pizookie.
