Merry Christmas: Watch, Read, Sing

Good Morning,
Happy Tuesday!

Has the Christmas Season hit you yet?
Full force?

I think I headed into this Christmas guns-a-blazing.
I love the intentional time of year that we get to worship the birth of our Savior.
God come to earth.
In human form.
Born to die.
So that we might live.

It's crazy.
Right?

The good kind of crazy.
Anyway, I wanted to share a few of my Christmas favorites.
Things that remind me that this season is truly about Jesus.
My goal is not to get you to "buy" more stuff.
I just want to share with you things that I truly love.

Have you seen this movie?
If not, I hope you will watch it.

Now, I love me some Mariah Carey and maybe even some Bieber Mistletoe,
they are some great jams.
When I'm decorating.
Walking through the stores.
Crank 'em up.
But I also love worshipping my savior.
Focusing on the event of his birth.
I love these albums, these artists bring me to the manger.
To that night in Bethlehem.

A sneak peek of Forestry's Drummer Boy break.
The first time I saw this I nearly fell out of my chair.
Going to see their Christmas show next Wednesday.
This is the highlight.

And then there is this book
It takes you into the story of Jesus' birth,
Step by step.
Piece by piece.
Focusing on each part of the puzzle that God worked together.
Each chapter is written by a different author.
Some contemporary, some classic.
(John Piper, Jonathan Edwards)
It builds up to the birth of Christ.
Totally an amazing before bed read.
It truly allowed me to ponder what really happened 2000 years ago.

And lastly, is this video.
You may have seen it last year.
I still love it.

Linking up with Jami!
